The actress, who made her directorial debut with ‘Lionheart’ has been appointed as an ambassador for the 2020 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is a reputable international festival and this is where Lionheart was first screened and caught Netflix’s attention.

The festival will run from 10 September to 19 September 19, 2020, and will opt for digital screenings and virtual red carpets due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Geoff Macnaughton, Senior Director of Industry & Theatrical, TIFF said: “In a time of disruption, professionals from around the world still look for occasions to come together, share innovative ideas, buy and sell content, and find creative ways to collectively forge ahead towards a safer, healthier, and inclusive future.
