Once upon a short time ago, we were told the wonderful story of a man’s sublime love for a woman. The man, Adamantus, was a commoner while the woman, Kevi was a princess and the only daughter of a mighty African emperor.
The Emperor, Hulu, wanted Kevi to marry the tallest and most handsome prince in his kingdom but she ended up marrying Adamantus who was short and far from being handsome and who endured all the harsh obstacles that the Emperor placed in his path
Romantics with good memories will recall that Adamantus and Kevi not only got married but they ended up having five children and lived happily ever after. The period of living happily ever after intensified after the Emperor died and Adamantus became Emperor.

The Empire, Tohulu, that Adamantus was called upon to govern was vast, with a landmass that stretched from one end of the African continent to the other. Adamantus was not a warrior but Hulu had left him a very big and strong army which was very experienced in quickly crushing the revolts that continually sprang up from different parts of the Empire. The army was loyal to him but some of the princes of the kingdom were not. Their frequent attempt to dethrone him was however always crushed.
As the years passed away the entire empire never ceased to marvel at the undying love between Adamantus and Kevi; a love that seemed to grow stronger even as Kevi’s shape and beauty became less magnificent with the birth of her five children. This was how matters stood in the Kingdom until the fateful day when in the absence of Kevi and her children, who had gone on a visit to another part of the Kingdom, one of Kevi’s new maid was asked by the Palace Supervisor to take a bottle of wine to the Emperor.
Adamantus was alone in his bedroom feeling lonely and terribly missing Kevi when the maid quietly walked into his vast palace carrying the bottle of wine on a golden tray, which she placed on the side table by the Emperor’s chair. It was as she turned to leave that Adamantus walked in and stopped in shock. Not because she had brought him a bottle of wine but at the fact that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever laid his eyes upon.
