The author recently took to Instagram to share a list of all the projects that she is currently working on. To make it all clear, she wrote in the caption:
“Here are my current tv/film projects, so that it’s all in one place.
Also, I’m currently working on The 3rd Akata novel in the series. Note: No “congrats”, please; this is what I do and it’s not new. Just want it all clear.”
On her to-do list are two of her popular novels, ‘Who Fears Death’ and ‘Binti’ which will be adapted into TV series. ‘Who Fears Death’ was optioned by HBO while ‘Binti’ was picked up by Media Res and Hulu.
She also listed the adaptation of Octavia Butler’s novel, ‘Wild Seed’ which is being made into a Tv series and another unannounced project that she is working on.
