Michael B. Jordan will return in Creed III as both lead actor and director

Michael B. Jordan is set to make his directorial debut on Creed III and will also return as the main character as well in the movie.

Creed franchise fans have another reason to anticipate the third instalment of the boxing epic; Michael B. Jordan will direct it.

Since its first instalment in 2015, the Creed films have not had the same director; Ryan Coogler directed the first Creed film while Steven Caple Jr. directed Creed II.

Now, it is Michael B. Jordan’s turn. Meanwhile, he will still reprise his role as Adonis Creed. The details about Creed III are still not clear but Tessa Thompson, who co-stars as Jordan’s lover, confirmed that filming will begin in 2021. She was also the source of the Michael B. Sylvester Stallone may also be returning as Rocky, but this as not been confirmed yet. The Creed franchise is a spin-off of the Rocky film series which spans (1976 – 2006).

Creed III may be out as soon as 2022 as we in the past, the Creed films are known to go from filming to release in a jiffy. In fact, Creed II filming began in March 2018 and it was released in November 2018.
