Dale Russell Gudegast was born Dale Suzanne Russell on 17 November 1941, according to fact files in Los Angeles, California, US. She was raised in the city of Bakersfield and grew up with her sister Sigrid Valdis.

Valdis was also an actress, but she passed on sadly in 2007 from lung cancer.

Information about Dale Russell’s parent and family is pretty much scarce due to the actress not really speaking much about them. Meanwhile, we found that she is an American citizen but inherited Swedish ancestry from either of her parents.

Back in 2009, he hinted at leaving the “The Young and the Restless” show, and his role as Victor Newman, because the makers were not showing flexibility during contract negotiations. However, after a 5-week break he returned. The same incident happened in 2012 but Braeden has continued to play Victor Newman in the long-running show.
