Hassie Harrison was born on 20 March 1990 in Dallas, Texas. Although her mother is known as Laurie Harrison, a woman quite fond of the arts, almost nothing about her father is known to the public. Hassie is not an only child, however, as she has three sisters.
Her mother was deeply involved with the Dallas Children’s Theatre, so naturally, this was how Harrison discovered her love for acting. During an interview with Pop Culturalist, she said:
“My mom was very involved in the Dallas Children’s theatre, so growing up, I was always taking classes and going to plays. I think I always knew this was going to be a part of my life’s path. My love of film also brought me here. I saw all these actors living it up, and I wanted in on the fun!”

The audition went really well, and at the end, the casting director goes, “These rape scenes are getting really heavy, I think we should start cutting them from the audition.” I remember walking out of that audition dying laughing because it was all I could do at that point.
“I got some beer with some buddies and laughed it off. To not have a scene partner for it and to be acting it out solo and for it to be my birthday, there were so many things about it. What we do for a living is so strange.”

As far as the public knows, Hassie Harrison has been dating “One Tree Hill” star Austin Nichols since 2018. The couple made their red carpet debut in the same year in Laguna Beach, California, at Ocean’s 11th annual sea change summer party.
