Following a huge display yesterday, 5 September when Erica had a breakdown and insulted Laycon, Prince, and did so many other things, Nigerians called for her to be disqualified from the show.
People felt that she had done too much after the party where she ingested alcohol and subsequently began to act out. Shortly before the disqualification show, Big Brother called all the housemates and addressed the issue.
The clips from the night before were played for Erica, the housemates, and the viewers to see. Following that, Big Brother outlined all of Erica’s offences and then disqualified her from the show.

Nigerians have now taken to social media to react to her disqualification. Her fans, popularly called Elites, have stood by her and promised to raise the prize money for her.
This is similar to the promises that were made by Big Brother Nigeria season 5 housemate, Tacha’s fans after her disqualification from the show.
Others have rejoiced at the announcement, saying that it is well deserved and that Erica deserves it for going too far. Others blamed it on other housemates, Laycon and Kiddwaya.
