“I’m not dead, ” Veteran Nollywood actor Hanks Anuku says as he debunks death rumours about him.
Hanks Anuku has taken to a live video on Instagram to insist that he is alive and well.
His disclaimer is as a result of multiple reports that stated the actor died on Thursday after a short illness.
Anuku, however, told the general public to disregard the fake news. He added that God is in charge of his life.
“I am alive. Do not listen to them. They’re poisonous praise vipers and they’re not children of God. God is in charge of my life and not them, ” Hanks says in the dramatic video he released.
Hanks Anuku is not the only Nollywood actor to debunk rumours of his death in recent times. A few months ago, veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu also took to the popular Instagram photo-sharing platform to declare that he was healthy and alive.
