Nigerian Singer, Harrysong has shared his experience with a scammer who tried to get him to disclose his bank account details.
The 39-year-old shared the phone conversation between him and the alleged scammer on Instagram on Monday.
“This Mr Kennedy Bayo, bank customer care… Are you not Mr Harrison….,” the scammer says at the start of the conversation.
Harrysong replies: “Yes I’m Harrison what bank is this?
The scammer replies: “From the very first bank. You mean you don’t know the bank you submitted you date of birth and BVN to…?”
This seem to be the trend scammers use to try and defraud many of their monies. Some people already know this trick.
However, some people sadly fall for it.
The call, which lasted about 3 minutes, ended in insults when the singer asked the scammer if he wanted the information on his card.
Taking to his Instagram page, Harrysong uploaded a video of their conversation, writing: “This boy wan play me wayo, thief my money. Pls listen till the end and give this upcoming yahoo boy a better advice.”
