Following the success of Michelle Obama’s podcast which launched last month, Spotify is now seeking to replicate the same success by signing Meghan and Harry to produce podcasts.
Sources told The Mirror that money is not an object, and for this deal, Meghan would more or less be able to name her price.
An insider told Daily Mail: “The Duke and Duchess have been on their hit list for a while and a detailed proposal is set to be presented to Meghan’s US agent in a matter of weeks.”
This is coming months after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from being senior royals in March. The couple has now moved into a California home as they seek to raise their son, Archie away from the spotlight.
This is coming after rumours that Megan and Harry are secretly shopping around a new project to top Hollywood executives. According to Variety, they started to pitch their idea in June.
Little is known about the project, but the couple plan to be joint producers on the project if it is eventually taken up.
