Kevin Hart’s Wife – Provides Update on His Recovery
Kelvin Hart’s wife, Eniko, spoke out about his condition on her way to visit him at the hospital on Monday, just one day after he was involved in a car crash that led to major back injuries.
The comedian and actor reportedly resting comfortably after he had back surgery for injuries he sustained during the crash though he remains hospitalised.
“He’s great,” Eniko says in a video obtained by TMZ. “He’s going to be just fine.”
Eniko, who appeared to be coming back from a coffee run, continues: “He’s good. Everybody’s good, thank God.”
“He’s fine. He’s awake,” she says. However, he is yet back to laughing and joking yet, according to Eniko.
Hart was in the passenger seat when he and driver Jared S. Black were involved in a car crash in Calabasas, California, in the comedian’s 1970 Plymouth Barracuda at 12:45 a.m. on Sunday morning.
Jared who was driving was airlifted to UCLA Medical Center and is said to be surrounded by family members as he also recovers, TMZ also reports. Jared’s fiance, celebrity trainer Rebecca Broxterman, was pinned in the backseat but was resued relatively unhurt.
Meanwhile, Kevin Hart’s friend and Jumanji co-star, Dwyane ‘The Rock’ Johnson says the comedian should “stop messing with my emotion” after the news of the accident broke. Other celebrities have also sent their support and well-wishes for the actor’s quick recovery.
