The model and her mother, Tokyo Toni have had a strained relationship for such a long time and the two have been known to call each other out on social media.
There had been instances where Tokyo Toni had to cry out on social media for Blac Chyna to let her see her grand daughter, Dream Kardashian, among other drama shared between them.
However, it looks like the family is about to reunite, as Chyna’s mother has agreed to appear on Blac Chyna’s upcoming reality show, I Am Blac Chyna, which launches this summer on Zeus.
Chyna mentioned during an interview with Wendy Williams this week that she hoped her mom would accept her invitation to be in the show. They have been arguing for years.
When she was asked about Tokyo, she said, “Family is family.”
She also said her mother thinks she has control over the media but she doesn’t and it “put a strain on their relationship.”
Soon after the Williams interview aired, Toni shared a video where she said she would do TV with the siren again.
“I just want to give a quick thank you to the Kardashian family. I mean people can talk all the s*** about you guys, all they want — one thing’s for certain — you guys stick together as family and any and everybody has to respect that,” the grandmother said.
After months of separation and one-sided social media spats, the two have made amends. Chyna apparently took the first (public) step toward reconciliation by following her mother on Instagram.
Ecstatic by the gesture, Tokyo Toni posted a screenshot of it to her own page, supported by the caption, “I love you Angela aka @blacchyna.”
The mother of two responded in the comments section, “I love you.”
