To celebrate her new single, 7 Rings, climbing to the top of the Billboard charts, Ariana Grande decided to get herself a new tattoo.

She opted for a tattoo of the song title in Japanese characters. Thing is, Ariana got a tattoo which separately means 7 Rings but together reads as something else.

Together, the tattoo means ‘shichirin’, which is a Japanese style bbq grill.

In a now deleted post, Ariana addressed the mix-up, writing,

“Indeed, I left out ‘???’ which should have gone in between. It hurt like (expletive) n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao. But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.”
