Haley Grace Philips is a young lady who lives in Los Angeles, a major city in the united states of California, with her two kids and boyfriend. She recently came into the limelight when she was mistaken for another missing lady, Cassie Compton.
People thought kidnappers kidnapped Haley Grace Philips after her family member commented on Haley grace Philip’s Facebook page that Haley was missing. Later, people discovered that her family could not contact her, so they presumed her to be missing and never filed a missing person report.
Later on, they made it known that they were able to get in contact with Hayley, and she was fine. But not until a TikTok video surfaced online from a social media account “Deshawn Walton sr,” which depicted that kidnappers had gotten hold of Haley. Because her eyes looked bruised, and she was with two men beside her, one laughing.
Still, her facial expression made it look like she was held against her wishes and needed help. The picture caused a widespread concern on social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, with so much theory of her being in kidnapper’s custody and sex trafficked.
Haley Grace Philips Robbed
Haley Grace Philips later disclosed that hoodlums robbed her and, in the process, bruised her eyes. It was news that some people were comfortable with since it didn’t result in any fatal death for Haley grace Philips.
Still, others expressed skepticism as to why armed robbers would rob her. They wondered how the armed robbers didn’t steal her phone and how she could retain it without the robbers realizing she had a phone. Also, they asked how she accessed her Instagram account and recorded herself, affirming that she was safe.
She is not Cassie Compton and doesn’t even have the slightest idea of who Cassie Compton is. In expressing her discontent with being compared to Cassie Compton, she referred to cassie Compton as a “b---h,” which made many people displeasure with her using such a vulgar word.
Haley apologized, saying that it was something she usually communicated with friends and family. She also mentioned that she had no idea that Cassie Compton was a missing lady. And also, the stress of having to wake up and the Federal Bureau of Investigation(FBI) looking for her as a missing person made her speak without checking her words.

Cassie Compton is a 15 years old teenage girl from Arkansas who went missing on 14 September 2014. The last time her family saw her was between 6:50 pm and 7:00 pm. Cassie Compton was born on 12 April 1998; she was described to weigh 100lbs and was 5’3 in height, had a scar on her left cheek, and a sideways heart on her upper left arm.
She has four siblings who resided in Kingston, Oklahoma, but she was said to have been fond of her brother, Chris Newcomb, with who she was close. Cassie had blue eyes, and apparently, her hair was dyed blond. She visited a demolition derby alongside a family friend. Reports have it that Cassie, left her home in Stuttgart minutes later to go to a store and was dressed in a blue spaghetti-strap top, blue and white plaid shorts, and blue and grey cowgirl boots, and that was the last time her family saw her.
She was home-schooled and was working towards her General Education Development test (GED). At the age of 13, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Mental Health practitioners gave her antidepressants, but she wasn’t fond of taking her medicines. She constantly threw them in the toilet in an effort not to take them. She went to the doctor’s appointment a few days before her disappearance.
Cassie Compton Parents
Judy Compton, cassie’s mom, born in 1972, is a registered sex offender who is disabled, but the reasons for her disability are unknown. She was married to Roy Compton, who lives in Oklahoma and is also a registered sex offender. Judy Compton got engaged to 32 years Brandon Lee Rhodes in 2012.
Brandon Lee Rhodes, born in 1989, did not have a job, car, or driver’s license. Brandon Lee Rhodes was only known to have a bike he would typically ride around. Judy Compton reports that she was known to have a blue chevy impala car and Brandon Lee Rhodes would usually drive Judy Compton’s car while she was asleep, knowing he didn’t have a driver’s license.
Reports had it that Brendon Rhodes was the one who rode his bike to the police station that same day cassie went missing to report that cassie could not be found, but the law enforcement agency told him he had to wait for at least 72 hours before he could write her missing. The law enforcement agency initially thought she was a run-away child until past leads made those assumptions void.
Judy Cassie eventually ended her relationship with Brendon Rhodes after describing him as a controlling man. He never got along with Cassie Compton; since then, she married another man. On the other hand, Brendon Rhodes was often in and out of jail on numerous occasions due to multiple offenses he committed: drug charges, theft, possession of firearms, and driving while being suspended.
The law enforcement agency has held Brendon Rhodes in independence county jail for a different case unrelated to Cassies. Cassie’s brother believes that Brendon has something to do with his sister’s disappearance, but until now, the police have not gotten any evidence to back up his intuition.
Police Investigation
The video surfaced on TikTok and made the Stuttgart police department jump into action to verify if it was indeed Cassie Compton. Still, after a series of investigations led by the Stuttgart police department, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and the Arkansas police department. The FBI discovered that the mystery girl was Hayley Grace Philips, not Cassie Compton.
Friends and family raised awareness about Cassie missing by creating a Facebook page with the name “find Cassie Compton” alongside a Twitter account @findcassie. But since 2016, the Twitter account hasn’t been updated. Stuttgart Police Chief, who was then a lieutenant in 2014, said the date stuck in his head.
He thought it was a situation whereby she flared up and left the house. She probably would come back, or they would find her, but eventually, until now, no one has found cassie.

Haley is active on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, where she posts pictures of herself. On Facebook, she is @haleygracephilips, and on Instagram, she is @therealhaleygrace. After she posted some pictures on her Facebook account, concerned friends and fans were confused. They were not sure if she was the person posting or the people who held her hostage.
Conclusion
A case like this has not yielded any positive results regarding where cassie Compton could be. It brings into question whether she would someday be found and reunited with her family. We do not know whether she’s still alive or dead, whether, ultimately, her family would be able to have closure over their daughter and sister. We hope that the cops find Cassie Compton someday.
