Yahoo announced the writing competition in March 2020 and asked for entries from authors all over the world. Work must be suitable for children aged 7 and above, Yahoo said.
J.Michael is the author of numerous short stories and four books including If Only, Black Spell, Mission 3R and Stray Consequences. The books are all available on Amazon.
And in case you prefer listening to reading, Mission 3R is also available as audiobook. You can get your copy from Audible or iTune.

The 20 stories were chosen by a team of expert editors, according to the tech giant, with summaries of each story published on the Yahoo website to guide voters in making informed decisions on which short story or stories they want to vote for.
According to Yahoo, voters can vote for their favourite children’s story on the website. Thereafter, the top 14 short stories that received the highest casted votes will be turned into a podcast. The podcast will be made available for free on Apple Podcast and Spotify and anyone can listen to them.
It is Yahoo’s way of providing entertainment for children during the lockdown period occasioned by the global Coronaviruas pandemic.
