Matchday 10 had some of the most exciting games of the world cup so far. Mexico beat Korea Republic 2-1 to make it their second win in a row after beating Germany in their opening game.

Mexico grabbed the lead after Carlos Vela put away a penalty to become the first Mexican to score a spot kick since 2010.

Mexico the doubled the lead in the 66th minute through a Javier Hernandez goal until Son Heung-min hit a screamer in the 93rd minute to give Korea a consolation goal.

The game between Belgium and Tunisia saw its first goal from a calmly converted Eden Hazard penalty in the 6th minute.

Lukaku followed up with a goal after an assist from Mertens enabled him to plant it in the bottom corner.

Tunisia replied with a goal 2 minutes later but Lukaku scored another goal to make him level with Cristiano Ronaldo at 4 goals in the competition.

The last 2 Belgium goals came in the second half from Hazard and substitute Mitchy Batshuayi before Tunisia scored one last goal in the closing minute of the game.

The final match of the day, Germany vs Sweden, was action packed.

A first half goal from Sweden gave the Germans a massive scare of an early knockout from the tournament.

Germany however managed to keep controlling the game till the very last minute.

An early second half goal gave the Germans a fighting chance and it seemed as though the game was going to end as a draw until the very last minute.

Toni Kroos beautifully put away a free-kick to give the Germans their first three points in the group:
