Vanessa Bryant, wife to NBA star Kobe Bryant and mother of Gianna Bryant has made her first statement since she lost both husband and child to the tragic incident of a helicopter crash.
Recall that basketball icon, Kobe Bryant, 41 and daughter and Gianna, 13, were both killed in a helicopter crash a few days ago, and fans and fellow stars have taken out time to grieve with his family. Since then, not a word has been heard from the family of the star.
A few hours ago, Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa Bryant, changed her profile picture on Instagram to the picture of both husband and daughter and not long after that, she made her first statement since the incident on Instagram. She posted a very beautiful family picture and stated that it was impossible to imagine life without her husband and daughter.
Vanessa started her post with an expression of gratitude to the millions “who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time.” She also announced the “Mamba Sports Foundation has set up the MambaOnThree Fund to help support the other families affected by this tragedy.”

“My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers. We definitely need them. We are completely devastated by the sudden loss of my adoring husband, Kobe — the amazing father of our children; and my beautiful, sweet Gianna — a loving, thoughtful, and wonderful daughter, and amazing sister to Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.
We are also devastated for the families who lost their loved ones on Sunday, and we share in their grief intimately.
