Danny Young’s copyright infringement suit against Tiwa Savage is finally leaving the ground.

The singer claims that Tiwa Savage used lines from his song titled ‘Oju Ti Won’ without permission. He took his grievances to social media shortly after Tiwa Savage released the song, ‘One’ at the end of 2018.

Following a series of social media complaints that Tiwa Savage ignored, Danny Young has now dragged Tiwa Savage to court.

He is suing her for the sum of 205 million, 200 million as damages for copyright violation, and an extra 5 million as cost of action. Mavin Record’s Don Jazzy has been named as the second defendant.

He is also demanding an account for profits accrued to the defendants from the use of the infringing musical work titled ‘One’.
