She started her career as a child actress, starring in films such as Andre, When a Man Loves a Woman, Corrina, Corrina, and Waterworld. As an actress, Tina Majorino introduced herself to the world at the age of 7 and enjoyed some success. However, she took a step back from the industry to later resurface at the ripe age of 18.
With the role of Deb in the 2004 film Napoleon Dynamite, Tina marked her return to acting. From 2004 to 2007, she portrayed Cindy “Mac” Mackenzie on Veronica Mars and reprised the character in the 2014 spinoff film. Later, in 2019, she turned down the offer to reprise her role in the show’s fourth season.

Many Hollywood stars started as child actors. However, while Tina’s trajectory may be a little different than the others, she took a break from the scene only to reappear much later after coming of age.
