Rapper Nipsey Hussle cause of death revealed

Nipsey Hussle‘s cause of death has been revealed to be a result of gunshot wounds on his head and torso, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed Monday.

Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Joseph Asghedom was shot outside his clothing store, the Marathon Clothing Company, in the Hyde Park neighbourhood of Los Angeles on Sunday.

“Paramedics were called and was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 3:55 pm,” the coroner says in a statement according to multiple news outlets.

“Today, an autopsy was performed, and it was determined Asghedom died from gunshot wounds of the head and torso,” the statement continues.

“The manner of death was certified as a homicide.”

Two other people were also shot and their conditions listed as stable on Sunday. The shooter fled the scene of the incident and police have not released further information as to his whereabouts.
