Nigeria has postponed the resumption of international flights from the initial date of 29 August to 5th September.
The director-general of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Musa Nuhu, says international flights will not be able to resume until September 5th, 2020
Nuhu said this at the media briefing of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Thursday, 27 August. According to the minister, there were non-aviation logistics that were not yet in place for resumption.
“We need to get these all ready and in place so that we have a smooth and efficient resumption onf international flights without difficulties for all the passengers,” Nuhu says.
The NCAA boss also announced that further details will be provided next week on the list of countries from which Nigeria will not accept flights.
