Last weekend it was reported that Mr. 2kay was robbed at gunpoint at Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island. The report brought harsh reactions from Nigerians who blasted the Hotel management for being lax in taking security measures to protect their clients.
The singer had just returned from performing at a concert and was robbed right in his hotel room, after which he took to his social media page to report the incident.
Now he replies:
“I am grateful to everyone that reached out to me and I appreciate your love and concern. I still need your prayers as I look forward to better days ahead. There is more to what the eyes can see, but when you have God you are always covered. May God grant all your heart desires, Amen.”
