The claim was made by Nollywood actress and producer Sapphire Obi Ogodo during a chat with the Sun newspaper. According to the actress, infidelity is at the root of high divorce rate among actors celebrities and implies that many of them only got into marriages out of societal expectations and not because it is what they wanted.
“Most of these celebrities never wanted marriage, they just wanted to try and see if the society would accept them. When they are with their spouses, they would keep other men in different places to satisfy themselves.”
