Mercy Aigbe celebrates one year anniversary of leaving abusive marriage

And we doubt if the actress is letting the aftermath dampen her spirit and enthusiasm towards life.

Mercy seems to have put all the drama and chaos which surrounded her marriage breakup behind her and judging from her post on her Instagram today, the actress seems to have forgiven the ex as well.

“A year! Thank you, Jehovah for grace, for the spirit of forgiveness, for total healing, for strength and above all for life! You are worthy to be praised,” she writes in the post in which she also uploaded a picture from her harrowing past.

Last year, the actress made a public announcement that her seemingly loving husband had been physically abusing her. The accusation brought a whole lot of controversy. However, it seems Mercy Aigbe’s ex-husband has not gotten over the separation, as he recently insinuated in a post that the actress was a prostitute.
