The newly wed has just been announced as a nominee for the Teen Choice Award for Choice Style Icon. This is the first time a royal has ever been considered for an award for the US show that started in 1999. If Meghan wins, it would be the first time a royal has snagged the award.
For the award, Meghan is up against celebs like Blake Lively, Chadwick Boseman, Harry Styles, Migos and Zendaya.
This isn’t the only award for which the duchess has been considered. Meghan was submitted for the Emmys’ Outstanding Supporting Actress in a drama series category by USA Network for her work as Rachel Zane on Suits, a network rep confirmed to Entertainment Tonight earlier this month. Meghan doesn’t have the Emmy nomination yet though.
