Mayorkun has spent the past few days teasing his new single, ‘Up to Something’. He got BBNaija winner, Mercy, and presenter, Bolanle, to speak candidly about body shaming.

Sampling a Nigerian classic by Plantashun Boiz’ Faze, Mayorkun calmly sings, “…but you don’t really understand, that you’re beautiful just the way you are…”, over the seizing SperoachBeatz crafted instrumentation reassuring listeners that beauty comes in different forms, shapes, colours, and sizes.

‘Up To Something’ arrives after Mayorkun’s huge wins at the 2019 edition of the Headies Awards, where he won the awards for Best Pop Album for his debut LP ‘The Mayor of Lagos’, and ‘Revelation of the Year’.
