Man United fans to fly banner asking for Ed Woodward to be fired

Man United fans have reportedly decided that they no longer want Ed Woodward to be in charge of operations at Manchester United.

Eurosport reports that a group of fans have come together to pay for a plane banner set to fly during United’s clash with Burnley at Turf Moor on September 2 with the message “Ed Out – LUHG” (Love United, Hate Glazers).

United fans are upset that the Executive Vice Chairman of the club failed to secure new faces in the defense despite Jose Mourinho saying that the Red Devils would have a “difficult season” without new defenders.

The last case of United fans making a banner was in March 2014 when a  ‘Wrong One – Moyes Out’ message was flown over Old Trafford in an attempt to force David Moyes out.

He was sacked one month and four games later.
