Journalist cries out in pain after Davido hit him [Video]

A Nigerian journalist, whose ego has been hurt, took to Instagram to cry out in pain after Davido hit him on his chest when he was only happy to see the singer.

The journalist, who uses the Instagram handle @9jaonthestreetz made a video of the encounter, which he posted on the photo and video sharing app.

Alongside the video, the journalist writes:

“On the 14th of February 2020 at Muritala Mohammed airport at Ikeja. I went to pick up one of my artists that I’m promoting. Davido happens to be one guy that I respect and I will actually risk my chance just to take a selfie with him, so I walked up to him just to take a selfie and to my uttermost surprise, Davido just hit me for chest, ‘like wetin I do you?’”

The poor journalist can be seen crying while making the video. He was definitely hurt.

The video of the journalist was also uploaded by Insta blog on their Instagram handle and had a video of what transpired between Davido and the journalist just beside it.

Meanwhile, Davido has responded to the allegation. Writing on the comment section of the caption of the uploaded video, he says:

“I was trynna hug u bro but U moved away fast so it looked like I was slapping ur chest … I love u bro.”

But the wounded journalist is yet to react to the apology.
