Early life and education
Thomas was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, to Claudine Weiss, a personal manager and social worker, and Stephen Weiss, an industrial sales manager. His parents got divorced in 1991 when he was ten years old. Not too much is known about his childhood and upbringing.
In 2000, he graduated with honours from Chaminade College Preparatory School in West Hills, California. Thomas then enrolled at Harvard University, where he studied philosophy and history and spent his third year abroad at St Andrews University in Scotland.
