Falz becomes the first Nigerian artiste to win two AMVCAs

Nigerian rapper and actor, Falz has made history as the first Nigerian artiste to win two Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA).

The 27-year-old won the Best Supporting Actor award at the just concluded Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Award (AMVCA) ceremony which took place at the Eko Hotel Convention Center, Victoria Island.

In a post to Instagram on Sunday, the New Money actor shared a video of himself as he went on stage to receive his award.

He captioned his post, “Whish music-shan do you know is having two AMVCA Thanks to you guys for helping me bring it home. Means a lot! Best Supporting Actor in a Film (for my role in New Money).”

Recall that in 2016, Falz won Best Actor in a Comedy Movie/Series at the AMVCA for his role in Jenifa’s Diaries.

Born Folarin Falana, Falz has starred in movies such as Jenifa’s dairies, New Money, Couple of Days, 10 Days in Sun City, Muna and Merry men.
