A high court in Lagos have set the date for the suspected notorious Kidnap syndicate Evans to hear his fate after his lawyers moved to end fresh charges leveled against him.
Evans whose real name is Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike was arrested by the joint effort of the police all around the country in conjunction with the Lagos State police command earlier this year and the case revealed the wealth the suspect had amassed with criminal activities that involved murders, robberies and kidnapping (which remains his most popular trade).
The Justice, Oluwatoyin Taiwo ruled that the judgment on Evans’ appeal against the allegations the Lagos State government had lain against him,that of kidnapping and murder, will be rendered on the coming month. He also gave the order to move three of Evans’ accomplices to the Kirikiri maximum security prison because one of them needed medical assistance.
