Daniel Ademinokan's film wins big at Berlin Film Festival

Daniel Ademinokun’s short film, Here, starring Stella Damasus won big at THAT film festival in Berlin.

The film won Best of Festival award and put it in the running to win £1 million marketing, sales and distribution in February 2020.

He took to Twitter to share the news, writing:

So proud to announce that our film “HERE” won the Best of Festival Award last night in Berlin. We are now in the running to win £1 Million in February 2020 alongside 2 other amazing filmmakers. Thanks to the entire cast & crew, especially the remarkable.”

Here features Stella Damasus, TJ Fink, Sly Augustus, and Robert Aloi. Directed by Daniel Ademinokan, the 14-minute short film is co-produced by Ademinokan and Stella Damasus.

Here tells the story of April (Stella Damasus), who lost her fiance, Nick, when he saved her from being hit by a car as she crosses the street while texting.

April is unable to come to terms with the loss of her fiance and had to deal with mental illness believing Nick was still alive.
