Cristiano Ronaldo became the most followed person on Instagram in 2018 after passing singer, Selena Gomez. He currently has 200.2 million followers, coming in second behind the official Instagram account, which has over 330 million followers.
Behind Cristiano Ronaldo is Ariana Grande with 173.1 million followers. Lionel Messi of Barcelona ranks eighth with 141.8 million and Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar is 10th at 132.6 million.
His Instagram account does not just exist to do so, he makes upwards of one million dollars from each paid ost on his Instagram page, according to Forbes.
