Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has been fined £8,000 after he admitted a misconduct charge from The FA.

The 60-year-old was earlier this week charged with misconduct by the Football Association in relation to his behaviour in the 94th minute of Monday’s Premier League fixture between Chelsea and Burnley, which led to his late dismissal in the 2-2 draw at the Stamford Bridge.

Sarri was sent off after he went out of his technical area to contest a decision that was made by referee Kevin Friend.

The Italian will now have to pay a compulsory fine of £8,000 for his behaviour.
