According to the reports the reason for the relatively low fee for the keeper is that his contract with the English side expires in one year. Courtois’ deal with Real Madrid will supposedly run at least till 2022.
This development will come as good news for Courtois who has his family in Spain and has been longing to be reunited with them.
RMC Sports also claims that Courtois may not be moving alone. His Belgian teammate Eden Hazard may be joining him this summer.
