Taxify launches its services in Ibadan and Owerri

Yippee! Ride-hailing app Taxify has launched its services simultaneously in Ibadan and Owerri.

This comes with the company’s intention to expand its services worldwide – particularly across Africa. Ibadan and Owerri are the third and fourth cities to be launched in Nigeria, after Lagos and Abuja.

To celebrate its launch in both cities, the company says it will be offering a 20% discount on all rides for the month of October 2018, and passengers can enjoy a free first ride with the promo codes HELLOIBADAN and HIOWERRI when they use the card payment option on the Taxify app.

If you are a driver in any of these cities you can click here to signup with the taxi app. To sign-up on Taxify, drivers will need a vehicle, a valid Nigerian driver’s license, an Android or iOS smartphone with GPS and you must be available to undergo an onboarding/training program.

Following the launch, residents of Ibadan and Owerri can now join the growing list of cities with ride-hailing apps.
