Manchester City as expected eased past Fulham 2-0 with Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne grabbing the goals in another comfortable home win for Pep Guardiola’s men.
Sterling set the Citizens on their way, grabbing his first Premier League goal since mid-October after being set up by a wonderful pass from none other than the in-form Kevin De Bruyne.
The Belgian then got one for his troubles too from the penalty spot after Raheem Sterling was fouled in the area by Joachim Andersen making Raheem Sterling the most fouled player resulting in a penalty in the league’s history.
Fulham, who beat Leicester on Monday, could not replicate such heroics against Manchester City as they failed to lay a glove on Pep Guardiola’s side.
Only a week ago, City dismantled Burnley 5-0 signaling that normal service has resumed for Guardiola’s men in the Premier League. Following up their convincing 5-0 win over Burnley, the win against Fulham shows another intense and dominant performance moving them up to fourth in the standings.
