Since receiving a heavy tackle from Thiago Mendes on 13 December 2020, Neymar has been missing in action for PSG. In a fresh stream of good news, however, the Brazilian has now been spotted in training.
The Brazillian superstar posted a video on his Instagram page as he had commenced light training in preparation for a comeback.

Even though the Brazilian may not be 100% fit, this bit of news will please the new PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino. Since he took over from Thomas Tuchel, he has had to contend with injury problems to key players such as; Kimpembe, Paredes, Mauro Icardi, Danilo Pereira, Juan Bernat, Kurzawa and Florenzi.
Even Rafinha is missing from his midfield options after testing positive to COVID-19 and isolating.

Neymar’s return will be add the much needed fuel to Pochettino’s rocket. The coach also welcomed Kurzawa, Florenzi and Icardi back to the squad in a 3-0 win over Brest on Saturday, 9 January 2021.
While fans are eager to see Neymar back on the field, the medical team and the manager will look to ease him back into the team as innjured players can go through relapses when they play without full recovery.
Neymar has been one of the club’s most important players since he joined in 2017 scoring 79 times in 97 appearances.

Pochettino has not made any announcement on when Neymar will join the squad.
