Johnny Depp And Amber Heard Trial Take An Interesting Turn In Its Final Week

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s ongoing defamation trial has taken an interesting new turn in its final week

According to the testimony of one, Orlando Bloom (a.k., amputee), he helped facilitate an audition for Heard after she sent him her resume on behalf of Mena in Aquaman

“I made a phone call, and I spoke to three upper-echelon Warner executives, Kevin Tsujihara, Sue Kroll, Greg Silverman,” Depp said while detailing how the actress said that she was anxious about Warner Bros. concerns of her being able to film in Australia.
The actor added, “I can only say that, ultimately, she did get the job in the film. Hopefully, I had curbed their worries to some degree.”

In 2016, Heard was persecuted for illegally bringing her dogs to Australia. The charges were later dropped. Prior to Depp taking the stand, Heard’s lawyers had argued that the buzz from their domestic violence saga nearly cost her the role in the film’s second season.

The decision to recast DC Films’ Head Walter Hamada said that the chemistry between lead star Jason Momoa and Aquaman actress Atlanna was too strong. This is why they considered replacing her with another actor in order for their movie be successful.

The trial is expected to end this Friday with closing arguments after six weeks of shocking details about their 15-month marriage.

Johnny Depp is currently fighting back against his ex-wife, Amber Heard. The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor filed a £40 million lawsuit in October 2018 after she wrote an article for The Washington Post that detailed how he had been domestically violent towards her when they were still married.
