Former Chelsea star just clocked 40.
The Ivorian footballer posted a video montage of the celebration on his Instagram account thanking friends and well-wishers. He captions the video as follows:
“No word can describe what this day means to me, feeling so blessed to be surprised by good, very good People for my 40th birthday, not everyone could make it but the thoughts from text messages or calls were amazing to have. Thank God for the Blessings ??????.”
The footballer who announced his retirement from international football last November appeared in three World Cup tournaments – 2006, 2010 and 2014. He is also Cote d’Ivoire’s all-time top scorer with 63 goals in 104 appearances.
