Unlike DSTV that is purely a satellite TV provider, TSTV is an HBB technology that combines both satellite and internet service for TV services. Also, TSTV services will be mainly on Pay As You Go basis, thereby offering subscribers loads of their favourite TV channels at the cheapest rate; something that subscriber had been asking DSTV until now – well you know that Multichoice, operators of DSTV, just announced that they’ll be offering a yet to be implemented pay per view (PPV) pricing structure. Oh yeah, bring on the competition.

TSTV has lined up an impressive list of entertaining and news channels and would be showing top soccer leagues like EPL, La Liga and Champions League. In addition, it even supports IPTV so you can stream your favourite tv programmes (downloaded and played almost simultaneously) through your Internet connection.
And the pricing? Relatively cheap. For N5000, you can get a TSTV decoder and the maximum subscription is N3000 monthly, with N1500, N1000, N500 and even N200 offers available.
