The Weeknd sued for Starboy theft

The Weeknd is being sued by writer, Eymun Talasazan for using his alter ego Starboy in a comic book.

Eymun says he created a comic book in 2014 that revolved around R&B and rap stars. TMZ reports that according to the suit, Eymun had a discussion with the singer about using Starboy in his comic book.

They never ended up working together and The Weeknd collaborated with Marvel to release Starboy comics.

Eymun says he’s been working with Stan Lee since 2016 about additional characters for his Starboy comic.

Eymun says his and the singer’s comics have a near identical premise. He’s suing for compensation and wants all copies of the singer’s comics recalled, impounded and destroyed.
