In 2006, when he started singing, dreadlocks were not nearly as normalized as they are right now. In spite of that, Terry G proudly rocked his hair and was the poster child for rule-breakers.
In fact, the singer was described as “one of the world’s weirdest singers”, by Vanguard as a “weird singer”, and by Channels TV as the “craziest musician in Nigeria”.
It appears that the ‘Akpako master’, as he is fondly called, has decided to change his style completely, even down to his hair.
He took to his Instagram page to debut a new look without his dreadlocks. The new low cut hairstyle was accompanied by a short beard.
In the caption of the post, he shared that he has now become a new person and as such, reintroductions will have to be made. He wrote:
“Am a brand new G..please you gonna need to re introduce yourself”
