Nigerian-American singer and actor Rotimi and his girlfriend, Vanessa Mdee are now officially engaged.
The Tanzanian singer Mdee and Rotimi took to their respective Instagram accounts to make the announcement. They had first made their relationship public in 2019.
“She said YES!” the “Power” actor captioned a post showing off his fiance’s huge diamond ring. He called her all sorts of sweet names ranging from his ‘angel’ to his ‘everything’. See his post below:

He also posted a video of the moment that Vanessa Mdee first said yes and you can see the excitement in her reaction.
The Tanzanian singer confirmed the news on her own account as well. “The answer is YES!!!!?,” she captioned her post. Mdee said she always knew that Rotimi was her husband since after spending a few days with him. See her full post below:
