How much is a microphone that you can’t buy?

That was the question posed by Twitter user @mrolaoluwa to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) on the social media platform after a reporter was spotted sticking a ‘sellotaped’ microphone to the British High Commissioner.

The Nigeria’s foremost media organisation is yet to return a response.

Understandably, many Twitter users are disappointed with some indicating that the microphone designates the general state of things in the country.

Some were quick to point out that NTA Ibadan is the culprit here.

Meanwhile, some were joking about it all, calling it a vintage microphone.

Oh well, one of the reasons we love Twitter!
