According to actor Kunle Afod who broke the news, Akintunde died on Thursday, 3rd of January after he went to the hospital to seek treatment for malaria.
His death comes just a day after another popular Nigeria celebrity, DJ XGee, took his own life on Wednesday after posting a strange message on Instagram. Nigerians are still reeling from the shock.
