American singer, songwriter, actress, record producer, and entrepreneur Mariah Carey has some opinions and isn’t holding back expressing them.
Oh, and that includes revealing some surprising details about her relationship with guys.
In a recent chit-chat with Jessica Herndon for Cosmopolitan, the multiple award-winning singer stated hadn’t been with more than five men her entire life.
“I haven’t had that many, but there have been a variety pack. I’ve only been with five people in my life, so I’m kind of a prude, honestly, compared to most others in the field”, she says in an interview with Cosmopolitan.
Jessica didn’t follow up to ask if the singer has been with women. Don’t mind us, we’re just messing.
Anyway, Mariah is currently dating Bryan Tanaka and before Bryan, she dated billionaire James Packer after her divorce from Nick Cannon with whom she shares twin girls, Monroe and Moroe, became final.
Mariah Carey also spoke on her 2016 performance where there was a technical problem with sound.
“If people think that’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to me, then, first of all, they haven’t studied my career well enough. After what I’ve been through, who really gives a shit if my monitor broke, fell off, came out of my ears because the stupid robe was too loose? These things happen and it’s over. My true fans stick with me, and the rest of the people will get over it.”
And then she had to throw some shades directed at unnamed colleagues in the industry.
“A lot of artists say they write, but they don’t really write. No offence to anybody. That’s just what I’ve seen.”
She even had something to say about girls who “are just nude in front of everybody.” Again, “no offence to them.”
But she has her own insecurities as well, don’t we all?
“I look horrible with a red lip. I probably should have gotten my lips done, but it’s too late.” And at one point during the interview, the music icon stands up and slides her hands down her torso. “There’s nothing here but this knit dress,” she says. By “nothing here,” she means she’s Spanx-free, writes Jessica Herndon.
