Klopp says he 'loved' Karius' reception at Anfield

Jurgen Klopp is impressed with the way Liverpool fans at Anfield received Karius after he came on as a substitute for Alisson Becker.
Goalkeeper Alisson Becker, Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri all made their Anfield debuts in a friendly against Torino.
Liverpool won 3-1 with goals from Roberto Firmino, Georginio Wijnaldum and Daniel Sturridge.
Klopp revealed that he was hoping for a warm reception for Karius who has suffered much criticism after his Champions league final errors.
“I was not surprised, to be honest, but as a human being I was hoping for it and I loved it,” he added.

“We showed tonight a really nice face and that helps, not only Loris but the others as well that they see this is a very special place. It was a really big gesture.”
