Former UFC champion Conor McGregor appears to have been caught on camera landing a punch on a man in an Irish pub simply because he wouldn’t drink any of the UFC star’s whiskey.
It was TMZ who obtained the video and reports that McGregor was in The Marble Arch Pub in Dublin on 6 April when the incident allegedly took place.
The boxer was said to be offering round a bottle of his Proper 12 whiskey to drinkers at the bar. He doled out glasses and filled them, encouraging people to join him in a toast, but one elderly man at the bar was not interested. The elderly man was totally uninterested in McGregor, sitting at the bar with his pint, although it is unclear if any words were exchanged.
McGregor then threw a left hand at the man, which appeared to connect. However, the man barely reacted, staying on his stool at the bar. The former UFC champ was then dragged out of the bar as onlookers were stunned by his actions.
Video footage of Conor McGregor allegedly punching an elderly man for refusing to take a shot of his whiskey has finally come out.
It’s unclear if it’s a punch or if he throws the shot at him, but either way it’s very bad. Full video via @TMZ#UFC pic.twitter.com/U9Lt69HWZg
