On 23rd of July 2019, Ifu Ennada launched her Wighat, the very first of its kind in this part of the world and according to her, she made over N10 million worth of sales in the next 5 days.
Days later, the official page for her latest project which is the wig that was taken down by Instagram for reasons she doesn’t know.
Her fans and followers, however, did not really know what was going on until the video was released. In the video, she expressed her sadness over the incident. She later said after trying to find out what exactly prompted the takedown of the page, she found out that the page was reported by a group of people, who claimed that her idea was stolen from them.
She explained what prompted her to start the production of the Wighat, she said it was born out of her visit to the hospital and seeing how similar things were produced for cancer patients who have lost their hair. She explained that she had to suspend other projects just so she could do the Wighat even though she was not sure if it was going to be accepted or not.
Ifu stated that she has tried paying someone who will help get the page back and she has spent 400,000 already.
